Celebrated my birthday at Hideout and loved it! I had the NY steak, braised beef short ribs and the hideout fries where so delicious both were incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The live music added a great vibe to the night. Perfect spot for a special occasion!

Just one floor up from street level, but a world apart from Waikiki. Jeremy, Taylor and the entire staff do a great job creating delicious drinks and a wonderfully premium yet comfortable atmosphere. Happy hour from 1-5pm daily nets you the most delicious Mai Tai in Waikiki. Live music from 6-9pm is the real deal - not cheesy tourist stuff, only legit local artists. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Located on main lobby floor of the Laylow hotel, Hideout is a great rooftop type restaurant and bar serving variety of local themed cuisine and drinks.

Went out in the afternoon for happy hour. The prices weren’t so happy, but the food was absolutely good! My friends and I shared tacos, egg rolls, dumplings, and fried chicken. We all really liked it. The crew was really nice too. 10/10 afternoon.

Alvin was a wonderful server, he was so friendly and attentive. We went for happy hour and got the burger, poke tacos, Brussels sprouts (omg amazing), and the egg rolls. Perfect spot for happy hour food. Cool environment and decently priced. We will be back next time we are on O’ahu.

Walked in with my friends and there were no available tables, so we were offered seats by the fireplace area — and honestly, we ended up liking it. It was a chilly evening, and the fireplace made everything feel warm and cozy. The signature drinks were delicious — especially For Da Boys, which felt like a fun twist on a Manhattan with coffee and chocolate notes, leaning on the sweeter side. The hibiscus cocktail was also really good. We also had a couple of New York Sours — great presentation and properly made. Shoutout to the bar team! Food-wise, the shrimp dumplings and ahi tacos were amazing. The Caesar salad had some nice crunchy, nutty notes — definitely not your basic Caesar. Steak and burger were okay, nothing special, but the chocolate bread pudding totally made up for it. Loved the hot and cold combo — really satisfying. Wish I remembered our server’s name, but the service was great — smooth, attentive, and really helpful. Just good vibes all around.

Breakfast, coffee, brunch, lunch, and dinner all available in this tuckaway bar/restaurant connected to the LayLow hotel. Quick fresh dining options anytime of the day. Nightly live entertainment in a modern decor space! Hideout has an intimate, cozy feel worth checking out when in Waikiki.

Had an awesome evening here with server Kai! Delicious cocktails - get the citrus one. Fries and edamame were great and the dumplings. We didn’t love the first app we ordered but he swiftly fixed it and everything was delicious. Amazing atmosphere with live music that wasn’t too loud. If you’re looking for a great vibe in Waikiki this is the spot

Absolute best happy hour spot! We went at 3:15 pm on a Saturday and got a great table right away! The fries, club sandwich and egg roles were delicious. You could tell that dinner service was going to be packed but the wait staff was very accommodating & never rushed us to finish. You pay a little more than normal considering it’s a hotel property but I see why the reviews are so good!!

The best!! 5 years later and still as good as it was when we first tried it. The Brussel sprouts with the pork belly 😋 is so good! Try the burger on the happy hour menu! Super good as well. Mai tai is not bad either:)
